Our Community

Brierley Primary School and Little Bears Nursery are part of a much wider local community with whom we aim to build strong links wherever possible.

We liaise with and welcome representatives from local churches, the police force, the fire service, community police officers and members of St Peter’s Church.

We are also very proactive in raising money for charities – in September we held a fabulous coffee afternoon to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This year we at Brierley are going to be working hard to give back to the community. Each year we regularly support some of the main national charities – Macmillan, Poppy Appeal, Children in Need, and Comic/Sports Relief. This year we have decided to fundraise for four more charities.
